The VisionLink® system melds many patient technology systems into one centralized system that helps to provide patient focused care with superior facility management. It easily installs into almost any size of facility, whether it be a single building or a 100 acre campus, and it integrates with smoke detectors, wandering patient door equipment, pocket pagers, wireless phones, and other software and hardware options. It's flexibility allows us to customize a system that will meet the needs of your facility and provide improved safety for patients and managed freedom for residents. Start small, think big! VisionLink® utilizes the Windows XP Professional® platform combined with 900 MHz spread spectrum wireless technology to link your residents to your staff. VisionLink® gives you the ability to start small and think big. Go wireless when adding a new wing or new building to save on conduit and wiring costs. For skilled care, add a single two wire loop through the corridors to provide dome lights. For a multi-building campus, add repeaters to send assistance calls to the nearest console by day and a centralized console at night. Flexible Software - Patient information is a standard VisionLink® feature along with a call history log that records every resident request for assistance and staff response times. Also standard are Call Analysis Reports that provide the tools to organize and analyze the data. Combination Emergency Pull/Check-In stations allow residents to summon help if needed and notify staff they are up and active each day. A scheduler reminds staff to give medications, lock doors or perform other tasks. Bed turn software notifies CNA's to turn their patients according to schedule. Staff Mobility - Staff members are no longer bound to the console. Caregivers can use pocket pagers, two way radios or wireless phones to receive alarm calls. VisionLink® also features text messaging. Not just patient alarms, but any message typed on a console keyboard, can be sent to any pager or pager group eliminating institutional overhead paging. Staff can be text-messaged that calls are holding or other information. VisionLink® can also provide notification from wandering patient systems, exit doors, smoke detectors, motion detectors, bed exit pads, equipment status, or anything else your facility requires.
